Professor Fulong Wu
Fulong Wu is Bartlett Professor of Planning at University College London. His research interests include urban development in China and its social and sustainable challenges. He has recently published a book, Planning for Growth: Urban and Regional Planning in China (2015, Routledge). Professor Wu was awarded the Outstanding International Impact Prize by UK ESRC in 2013. He previously taught at Cardiff University and the University of Southampton.
Bartlett Professor of Planning is a position previously held by Sir Patrick Abercrombie, Sir William Holford, Lord Richard Llewelyn-Davies, Sir Peter Hall and, most recently, Mike Batty FRS. Professor Wu’s prestigious appointment since 2011 presents the opportunity for the Bartlett School of Planning to redefine the planning discipline in global terms for a new generation.
吴缚龙教授是伦敦大学学院的巴特雷特规划教授。研究领域为中国城市的转型与规划。他近著有《为增长的规划：中国城市与区域规划》。据社会科学论文索引 (SSCI) 排名为全球前50名的地理学家。英国国家经济社会基金会 (ESRC) 2013卓越国际影响力奖获得者。自20世纪90年代中以来曾先后任教于英国南安普敦大学和卡迪夫大学，被誉为中国城市研究的世界级权威。目前，他关注中国城市的崛起和可持续发展的挑战。多年参与规划实践，致力于推动城市研究的国际化与本土化，并由此提升中国城市规划的国际地位。巴特雷特规划教授历任为Patrick Abercrombie 爵士 (主持“大伦敦规划”)、William Holford 爵士 (1947 年英国城乡规划法起草者、堪培拉的规划者)、Richard Llewelyn-Davies 勋爵 (英国新城米尔顿凯恩斯的设计者)、Peter Hall (彼得.霍尔) 爵士、和Mike Batty教授 （英国皇家科学院院士）。自2011年起的重要任命给巴特雷规划学院带来在全球意义下重新定义新一代规划的机遇，标志着中国城市和规划研究在世界主流学界确立地位.
Dr Fangzhu Zhang
Dr Fangzhu Zhang is a Lecturer in China Planning. She worked at the School of City Planning, Cardiff University (2006-2011) and University of Southampton (2000-2002) before joining the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL. She received her Ph.D. degree from the University of Southampton, UK in 2006. To date, she has published 13 refereed articles, 2 book chapters, 7 working papers, 1 special issue (guest editor) and 1 edited book. She has presented 16 papers at international conferences in the UK, Europe, China and America. She is joint-coordinator for the China Planning Research Group (CPRG) at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL and is supervising 6 PhD research projects on urban china planning.
Her main research interests include innovation and science parks, especially biotechnology R&D in China, sustainable development and Chinese eco-cities. She has been involved in several research projects, including EU innovation program project, ESRC/DFID project on Chinese urban villages, and UK-China sustainable development dialogue. She has also been a network facilitator of the Urban China Research International Network funded by the Leverhulme Trust. She has published papers in the journals such as Regional Studies, European Planning Studies, Progress in Planning, Town Planning Review, and Geography Compass. Her curent work is focused on the innovation and governance of Chinese science parks, eco-innovation, and eco-cities in China.
